Forget My Husband, I’ll Go Make Money: Chapter 360

Succeeding the throne (9)

Seeing Tarkan and Aristine deep in each other’s arms, the court ladies froze in the same place as they opened the door. Tarkan and Aristine were just as frozen.

The court ladies were the first to break the awkward silence.

“Oh, have a great time.”

“If you need anything else, let us know.”

“You know how to use the bed, right? My, it’s finally getting used.”

“We’ll put the mirror back in the bedroom.”

“Alright, enjoy your happiness.”

Bang, the door closed.

Once again, only Aristine and Tarkan were alone in the room.

Naturally, the atmosphere could not return to how it was before the court ladies intruded.

‘Oh my gosh, so embarrassing.’

Just like when they spent their first night in the Demonic Beast Plains, why did their sleeping together have to be publicized?

“L-Let’s call the court ladies back and…Ahk!”

Aristine exclaimed as Tarkan suddenly hugged up.

“Let’s go.”

Aristine blinked. Go where?

“To try the bed.”

In broad daylight?

Of course, those words never left Aristine’s lips.

She just hugged her husband’s thick neck tightly.

“Hu-hum, I’m a little curious how that bed is used.”

Aristine replied coyly and leaned against her husband’s chest.

And later on, she regretted not stopping this beast of a man and letting go of his reins.

* * *

The early morning air was quite chilly despite the sweltering heat.

Feeling the bustle around her, Aristine collapsed in the bed and groaned. From the atmosphere, she knew she needed to get up, but her body refused to move.

“My goodness, Princess Consort.”

The court ladies were stunned to see Aristine sprawled out on the bed, looking groggy.

But because they were familiar with this situation, they quickly began to apply ice packs.

“Princess Consort, we’ve said you should refuse if it’s difficult for you.”

“‘I can’t’, ‘I don’t want to’, ‘I’m tired’. You should use those three phrases as your holy grail like we said.”

The court ladies spoke as they massaged her and carefully wiped her face with a soft towel.

Then a droning reply spilled from Aristine lips.

“I know… But it feels good as we keep going…”

“Ahh…”

The court ladies briefly exchanged looks.

“If that’s the case…”

If it feels good, there’s nothing you can do about it.

They thought His Highness Tarkan was solely to blame, but apparently, both sides were equally at fault.

* * *

Tarkan stroked his wife’s hair and a proud smile adorned his face.

His wild back, visible through his mane-like black hair, was full of red fingernail marks.

“Did it feel good?”

“Mn.”

Tarkan’s eyes sank at her almost inaudible answer.

He leaned over his lying wife.

Although it was morning, the air of a deep night filled the bedroom.

“Stop!”

The frightened court ladies desperately tried to stop him.

They had a good reason for that.

“Today is the coronation!”

“Even if we start preparing now, it’s not enough! Her Highness the Princess Consort is already so out of it!”

“You should have at least held back last night! We asked so many times!”

The court ladies’ reproach poured down on Tarkan. And this time, Aristine was not spared either.

“Princess Consort, you too. No matter how good it feels, aren’t you tired?”

“Hmm…that’s true, but since I eat all these good nutrients everyday…”

So, it was their fault for feeding her so well.

Tarkan, Launelian, Nephther.

These men with overwhelming power and strength, took turns giving Aristine everything that would benefit her body.

And the court ladies were delighted to see it and excitedly prepared in kitchen, wanting to feed their Princess Consort.

Honestly… it was also a fact that they encouraged the couple to work hard at night.

‘We are all guilty…’

The court ladies started blaming themselves.

“For now, let’s get the compresses done and get you a nutritious meal.”

“Then you’ll be able have a smooth coronation ceremony. Good nutrition means you can endure even more rigorous exercise.”

In any case, since it was their fault, they had to provide as much support as possible to ensure that the coronation went smoothly.

“We don’t want people to say the emperor can’t dance at the coronation ceremony because she’s working hard at night!”

Aristine’s eyes widened at those words. Her hazy mind suddenly cleared up.

“Oh my gosh! Today is the coronation!”

She could never receive such a scandalous(?) name.

“That’s why I told you to stop yesterday!” she cried, placing the blame on her husband.

Tarkan swiftly turned his head away, “But you were saying you felt good.”

In the end, she had herself to blame.

After receiving massages, ice packs, and consuming all sorts of energy sources, Aristine was rejuvenated.

She also benefited from receiving divine power from Tarkan.

Aristine looked at her reflection in the mirror.

Draped in her coronation robe, she was the perfect depiction of a new emperor.

‘Good.’

“Khan, I’m going to step out for a while.”

“Now?”

“Mhm, there’s still time left,” Aristine gave him a bright smile, “There is someone I really want to show this to, you know.”

As she spoke, she held a small glass bottle in her hand.

Translator’s Corner:

*OMG, OMG. Is that the glass bottle with that poison??

PrissyNeko

Thank you so much for the chapters, Miss Ruby!

Hahaha! Tarkan had only tasted the “sweet nectar” of intercourse once before he was forced to abstain for his pregnant wife. After waiting for the entire length of her pregnancy plus the time it took for her body to adequately heal, no amount of awkwardness or ruined mood could stop him. 🤣
But then it sounded like it was every night since then. He couldn’t help it, but props to him for making sure Aristine enjoyed it just as much as he did. 😌
