Aristine has suddenly jumped from just a princess to mythical god-appointed emperor of Silvanus – even if she’s reluctant to embrace the responsibility. King of Irugo being married to her looks awfully like Irugo becoming empire’s vassal state. It shouldn’t be too difficult to convince the nobles – and even the general public, since this world seems to have some nationalism already – that having Hamill as the crown prince would be the way to guarantee Irugonian sovereignty while Tarakan is bound to move to Silvanus as emperor consort.

Hell, even without the queen meddling, Aristines’s newfound position should be a big pain in the butt, generating discontent in both Silvanus and Irugo if she tries to just poceed as if nothing happened, which seems to be exactly what her “plan” is…
