It was said that Selena’s appearance faded after the fire. So maybe black to blonde. Then after Yuri emerged from the cocoon her hair went from blonde to black.
Thinking Dominic Crawford is the mastermind bad guy. Some how making Selena forget her memories, turning her into a pick pocketing street kid. When she was beaten and passed out, maybe he even sold her off into slavery as well.
