Also, I have to say, this author loves to keep her cards close to her until the final reveal. I never expected that the Countess Alvin she served in the dream was her sister Princess Katherine.

All this time, I thought Katherine had an awful end in the dream, as well in the current timeline. Now, I am more confident she won’t be served on a silver platter to Count Matin.

I was slightly pessimistic with the theory that Katherine’s materialistic money-squandering habits would test the limits of Kwiz, hence she met (dream) or would meet (current timeline) a tragic end.
