In fairness she only knows about all that stuff about social gatherings because she has experienced it in her first life/dream. She has no first hand experience with Hugh in the previous timeline so she doesn’t have anything to compare with in terms of his behaviour and what is typical or atypical of how he behaves with women except for how he breaks up with them.
