Lucia met this guy by chance when she & Hugh went to a theater show.
Lucia came back from the restroom and saw a group of noblewomen laughed at a gossip about a widowed countess was said to have an affair with her guarding knight (he was said to be quite handsome & had charming personality).
Then the said couple from the gossip passed by near Lucia, so she could make sure that the knight mentioned in the gossip was the man who swindled Lucia in the dream.
