He makes me wanna quit being a silent reader. I don’t usually post comments here other than the breathtaking confession part since I’ve been waiting for it for a long time. His character is so on point and consistent all throughout the novel since the beginning. He’s such a fascinating character combined with his constant bickering with Fabian here that it makes everything seems lighter than what it really is. What he did still startled me but his unwavering loyalty to the Duke is unfathomable. I hope he somehow manages to get out of this alive still although it’s not guaranteed. I’m still rooting for him.
