this is actually a thing in some parts of asia where women are encourage from a young age to act cutesy in social settings even in the workplace bc it will get them far especially when they work under male bosses. bc if they ever do a mistake they’re more likely to be forgiven bc cutesy=the urge to protect them. we even see korean female popstars on tv shows encouraged to show off the cutesy baby voice as a good skill to showoff.
