I forgot which earliest chapter it’s being mentioned, but I think chapter 2 or 3.
Hugh married Lucia when he was 23 (and Lucia 18).
It’s been about a year (+ a few monthsI think) when they lived in Roam (the North). So up till now, Hugh is about 25 (and Lucia 20)

But Hugo is married to Lucia who is a royal by blood and directly related to the King. So one is by blood related to someone who married into the royal family. And the other married someone who is by blood related to the royal family. They are literally in the exact same position.
